Abstract:
To simply and efficiently couple two reinforcing bar edges 10, 20 by using a novel guide jig 40 when coupling them by a coupler joint 30 externally mounted in advance to one reinforcing bar edge 20 while making them approach in a reinforcing bar axial direction.SOLUTION: A guide jig 40 is mounted to the other reinforcing bar edge 10 on which a coupler joint 30 is not externally mounted. The guide jig 40 comprises: a cylindrical part 41 that is arranged around an outer peripheral surface of the reinforcing bar edge 10 and forms an annular space capable of accommodating the coupler joint 30 between it and the outer peripheral surface; and a diameter expanded part 42 stretched to a tip side of the cylindrical part 41 and extending its diameter in a funnel like manner. By making two reinforcing bar edges 10, 20 approach each other, the coupler joint 30 is arranged within the diameter expanded part 42 of the guide jig 40. A tip side of the coupler joint 30 is coupled to the reinforcing bar edge 10 by making the coupler joint 30 slide inside the cylindrical part 41 of the guide jig 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
