Abstract:
PURPOSE: To promote safety of mounting work of reinforcing blocks and work efficiency by providing a generally L-shaped bent bolt insertion hole to at least one of opposite side plates forming the reinforcing blocks.
CONSTITUTION: Reinforcing blocks 11 are constituted of a top board 14 constructed between upper edge sections of two side plate 12 and 13 and a reinforcing board 15 provided to the top board 14 in the vertical direction, and it is mounted to a wale 3 fixed to the end of a shore strut 6. In order to reinforce the wale 3 in a state to bring the wale 3 into contact with the end of the shore strut 6, two reinforcing blocks 11 are prepared on both of upper and lower recesses 3a and 3b of the wale 3. Bolt insertion holes 17 bent in a generally L-shape are bored in the side plate 12 of the reinforcing blocks 11, and two pin holes 18 in positions opposed to the bolt insertion holes 17 are bored in the other side plate 13. Accordingly, the fixing of bolts 8 is easily hooked with the flexibility of movement and horizontal sections 17b because the insertion holes 17 are generally L-shaped, and mounting work of the reinforcing blocks 11 can be promoted.
