Abstract:
To provide a splicing foundation cloth that does not lose the shape by repeated washing and ironing, has dimensional stability and is used for collars of shirts or similar parts because the splicing-stabilizing yarns are straight and is free of bending stress.
This splicing foundation cloth 1 in the form of fabric 2 is the one obtained by insertion of thermally stabilized splicingstabilizing yarns 5 which extend in the warp direction between waies, and are straight or substantially straight, and free or substantially free of bending stress, and preferably has insertion of lamination of nonwoven fabrics.
