The reinforcing glass nonwoven fabric mainly includes glass fibers having a flat cross sectional shape. A part of the glass fibers exist in such a manner that a long diameter direction of a glass fiber is substantially orthogonal to a surface of the glass nonwoven fabric. The glass nonwoven fabric reinforcing body includes the reinforcing glass nonwoven fabric and a resin filled in voids of the reinforcing glass nonwoven fabric, and can be suitably used for a solar cell protective material.
