Abstract:

To provide the reinforcing method of a concrete structure having excellent handling properties in a used resin even in winter, particularly at a low temperature and under a moisten state and capable of firmly covering a reinforcing surface with a carbon fiber sheet when the surface of the concrete structure is covered with the carbon fiber sheet and reinforced.

A resin composition for impregnation, in which a vinyl ester resin is used as a resin main component, is applied before and/or after the covering of a carbon fiber sheet onto the surface of a primer layer formed by covering the upper section of a reinforcing surface with a primer composition, in which the vinyl ester resin is employed as the resin main component, and curing the primer composition, and permeated into openings in the carbon fiber sheet. The formed carbon-fiber sheet layer is cured under the state, in which it is unified with the concrete reinforcing surface and the primer layer.
