CONSTITUTION: Strings 3, 6 are arranged respectively on the outer periphery of the main cylinder 1 and that of the sub-cylinder 2 of a vacuum container. One the other hand, stringers 4 in a partial string form are arranged in the vicinity of the joined part of the main cylinder 1 and the sub-cylinder 2, because the stringers 3 of a complete ring form can not be arranged on the side of the main cylinder 1. In this case, the stringers 4 are removed in the vicinity of the joined part between the main cylinder 1 and the sub-cylinder 2 so as to be arranged after joining the two cylinders together. Then, after the main cylinder 1 and the sub-cylinder 2 are joined together partial stringers 5 are arranged on the joined part between the partial ring formed stringer 4 on the side of the main cylinder 1 and the side of the sub-cylinder 2. Each stringer 5 is made of higher rigidity than that of the stringer 4, and joined by welding to the stringer 4 at its one end and to the side surface of the stringer 6 at its other end.
