Abstract:
To provide a relay array that disconnects an electronic device (e.g., an inverter or power converter) from a grid to ensure safety of or reduced damage to the electronic device or grid, on the basis of detection of a power interruption or fault.SOLUTION: A system 100 includes one or more electromechanical relays (e.g., latching relays) RE1 to RE4. A safety device (e.g., a pin, a toggle, an electronic safety pin, or the like) prevents the latching relays from changing states. The electronic device easily removes the safety device if the ability to change states is desired. The latching relays are also supplied with a power pulse for changing states of the latching relays. The power pulse is provided by a power bank that maintains power in the case of a power interruption or fault.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
