Abstract:
To ensure privacy by informing an incoming notification of a received message to only a specific slave unit in a cordless telephone having plural slave units.
In the master unit of the cordless telephone, the telephone numbers of a slave unit, for example, a unit transmitting a message earlier and an opposite party unit used as a destination are memorized. When there is any reply to the message from the opposite party unit, it can be terminated at the slave unit transmitting the message earlier, by collation with a telephone number stored by the master unit from a transmission-source telephone number in the message.
