To prevent malfunction of the latching relay due to vibration or shock during use with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A relay device (20) includes an acceleration sensor (11) that detects the acceleration of the relay device (20), latching relays (14, 15), a drive circuit (9) that drives coils (144, 145, 154) of the latching relays (14, 15), a determination unit (101) that determines whether the detected acceleration exceeds a predetermined range, and a drive control unit (120) that controls the drive circuit (9) to drive the coils (144, 145, 154) for a certain period of time when it is determined that the acceleration exceeds the predetermined range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
