Abstract:
To determine a failure of a relay short circuit by suppressing the number of times the relay is switched on and off.SOLUTION: A relay failure detection circuit comprises: a first voltage acquisition unit that acquires the AC voltage input to a power supply circuit and outputs it as the first voltage signal; a second voltage acquisition unit that acquires a voltage between terminals of a relay provided in the power supply circuit and outputs it as a second voltage signal; a comparison unit that compares the waveforms of the first voltage signal and the second voltage signal; a determination unit that determines a failure of the relay according to the result of the waveform comparison.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
