To provide a technique that enables the management of a terminal device by a terminal management device even in an environment in which the terminal management device cannot directly communicate with the terminal device.SOLUTION: In a terminal management system, a relay device performs unicast communication with a terminal device, thereby acquires at least one of a device name and a vendor name of the terminal device as determination information, and determines whether or not the terminal device is a terminal device to be supported based on the acquired determination information. If the terminal device is a support object, the relay device performs unicast communication with the terminal device to acquire terminal information from the terminal device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
