To provide a relay wireless station selection method or the like that allows only a required minimum number of relay wireless stations to perform flooding regarding an adhoc network in which communication is executed between wireless stations adjacent to each other with a plurality of links.
A plurality of the links connect between the wireless stations by different wireless communication systems. Two routes exist between the wireless stations up to two hops ahead. A first route connects a first hop between a first wireless station of a transmission origin and a plurality of second wireless stations adjacent to the first wireless station by a first wireless communication system, and also connects a second hop between a plurality of the second wireless stations and a plurality of third wireless stations adjacent to a plurality of the second wireless stations by a second wireless communication system. A second route connects the first hop by the second wireless communication system, and also connects the second hop by the first wireless communication system. The first route or the second route, which has a smaller number of the second wireless stations selected so as to transfer a packet to all the third wireless stations, is selected so as to compose a multipoint relay aggregation in the selected route.
