The release film for the liquid crystal polarizing plate has a mold release layer provided on one surface of a polyester film having a film width of ≥1,460 mm, a film haze of 7 to 18%, an L value measured with a reflection method of ≤77, and a sagging quantity of 15 mm/m, wherein the peeling force of the mold release layer surface is within the range of 10 to 100 mN/cm.
