To provide a release film which is excellent in releasability and uniform moldability, is easily discarded after use, and is relatively inexpensive, the film having excellent shape followability to concave and convex patterns in particular and causing no adhesion caused by elution of a release film intermediate layer.
The releasing film is formed into a multilayer structure which includes a middle layer between two releasing layers. The releasing layer comprises a resin composition containing, as principal components, polybutylene terephthalate resin (A) obtained by copolymerizing a diol compound as a third component, and a polymethylpentene resin (B), wherein a mass ratio of the resin (A):the resin (B) is 100:20 to 100:5. The middle layer comprises a resin composition containing, with respect to 100 pts.mass of the resin component, 75-50 pts.mass of a polybutylene terephthalate resin (E) having a bending elastic modulus of 600 MPa or less, and 20 to 50 pts.mass of a synthetic resin (F) having a melting point of 110 to 140°C. A thickness ration of the releasing layer to the middle layer is releasing layer:middle layer=1:10 to 1:3, and a total thickness is 20 to 160 μm.
