Abstract:
To provide a release paper base paper which can be made into release paper having not only excellent calender processability but also high smoothness, a release paper, an adhesive tape, and a method for manufacturing the release paper base paper.SOLUTION: A release paper base paper 10 of the invention comprises a paper base material 11 and a coating layer 12, which is laminated on at least a portion of the surface of the paper base material 11 and includes (A) a styrenic resin and (B) a resin having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 100°C or higher.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
