Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release polyester film that shows small changes in the release force with time, generates no burrs or the like upon punching a through-hole in a process of manufacturing a ceramic substrate, and is suitable for a green sheet.SOLUTION: The release film comprises at least two polyester layers laminated by co-extrusion of a base polyester film and simultaneously satisfies the following expressions. The release film includes a release layer comprising a cellulose derivative (A), an addition reaction type silicone (B), an MQ resin (C), and a catalyst, formed on at least one surface of the film. The expressions are:(1) 0.53≤[η]≤0.60, (2) 0.1≤d50≤1, and (3) 5≤WA≤20, where [η] represents an intrinsic viscosity of the base laminate polyester film, d50 represents an average particle diameter (μm) of particles included in at least one layer of the base laminate polyester film; and WA represents a content (wt.%) of the particles in the layer.
