Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a relief valve with a simple structure for suppressing returning-back swing of a load having a large inertia.
CONSTITUTION: An orifice 51 is arranged on an operating oil passage 50 formed on a poppet 5, for communicating an oil chamber 11 with a pressure receiving surface 54 on the other hand, an oil chamber 12 communicated with the oil chamber 11 is formed, and a sleeve 6 which can slide freely in the axial direction while being provided with a pressure receiving part 6A which receives pressure of a main pipe passage 19 on one end thereof is mounted in the oil chamber 12, and also a valve seat 62 provided on the sleeve 6 and a valve seat 63 provided between the oil chamber 12 and the oil chamber 11 are formed respectiely. A check valve 7 which sits selectively on the valve seats 62, 63 is mounted slidably in the oil chamber 12, and also a spring 71 by which the check valve 7 is energized in the direction of the valve seat 62 is mounted so as to form the outer diameter of the pressure receiving part 6A of the sleeve 6 nearly equal to the inner diameter of the valve seat 62.
