Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer detection system capable of previously avoiding battery exhaustion of transfer detection means and a control method.SOLUTION: A transfer detection system includes a machine tool and a transfer detection device. The transfer detection device is capable of detecting transfer of the machine tool. The transfer detection device includes an installation part in which a battery is installed. When a power switch of the machine tool is off, the battery supplies a power to the transfer detection device. A CPU of a transfer detection system determines whether or not the battery is in a replacement state as one example of a state in which battery replacement is required (S22). The battery turns into the replacement state, for example, after passage of one year since the battery was installed in the installation part. Upon determination that the battery is in the replacement state (S22: YES), the CPU executes alarm display (S25), and determines whether or not the battery has been replaced (S28). Until determination that the battery has been replaced (S28: NO), the CPU continues the alarm display (S25).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
