To eliminate the nonconformity of noise and vibration being generated due to magnetic attractive force of a radial element which is peculiarly generated in a reluctance motor.
In the coil of each phase, a rod-type segment 7 consisting of a conductor is inserted into a plurality of slots 1b formed to a stator 1, and the other end is coupled electrically and mechanically with the end of the other segment 7. The shape of segment 7 is almost matched with the shape of slot 1b, to increase the occupation coefficient of the coil in the slot 1b. Therefore, the rigidity of the stator 1 increases to reduce noise and vibration. Moreover, since the end of the segment 7 is joined with the other segment 7 at a coil end portion, the rigidity of the stator 1 can also be enhanced at the coil end. In addition, since lamination factor of the coil is increased, the rotational output can be enhanced.
