Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reluctance motor which improves torque during low-speed rotation by effectively utilizing a function for performing self-excitation by recovering loss energy.SOLUTION: The reluctance motor includes: a stator including a drive coil; and a rotor including a plurality of salient poles which receive main torque by inter-linking a magnetic flux generated at the drive coil. The rotor includes a power supply control part. The power supply control part includes: an inductor pole coil disposed on a magnetic path where a spatial harmonic component to be superposed on the magnetic flux of the drive coil is inter-linked for generating an induction current from the spatial harmonic component of the magnetic flux; a rectification element for rectifying the induction current; and an electromagnet pole coil that is electrified with the rectified induction current as a field current and self-excited for generating an electromagnetic force that becomes auxiliary torque for supporting the main torque. A high frequency current is superposed in a predetermined interval of an electric angle and supplied as a drive current from a power source that is connected to the coil, by the power supply control part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
