Title:
REMEDY FOR NEPHROPATHY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6011430
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the titled remedy composed mainly of a component prepared by bonding a compound having negatively charged group to the fraction obtained by removing the complement-bonding fragment from the monoclonal antibody capable of selectively and specifically bonding to the renal glomerulus basilemma.

CONSTITUTION: The peripheral monocyte of a patient of nephritis manifesting the autoantibody to antiglomerulus basilemma, is fused with the human myeloma cell, and cultured dividedly in a specific cultivator. The clone producing the same kind of antibody as those produced by the above antiglomerulus basilemma autoantibody is selected from the cultured product to obtain a monoclonal antibody. The complement-bonding fragment is removed from the above monoclonal antibody to obtain the fraction having antigen-bonding site, and the fraction is bonded with a compound having negatively charged group such as carboxyl group, sulfonic acid group, phosphoric acid group, etc. The objective remedy for nephropathy exhibiting the syndrome of proteinuria, hypoproteinemia, edema, hyperlipemia, etc. can be prepared by using the above product as a main component.
