To provide a remedy for inflammatory keratoses (e.g. psoriasis, parapsoriasis, and lichen), keratoses (e.g. ichthyosis and Darier's disease), or inflammatory skin diseases (e.g. atopic dermatitis and contact dermatitis).

The remedy for inflammatory keratoses, keratoses, or inflammatory skin diseases in human or animal contains as an active ingredient a compound represented by formula (I) or a medicinally acceptable salt thereof. In formula (I), R1 is a halogen-substituted benzofuranyl or a halogen-substituted styryl; R2 is a substituted hydroxy, a substituted mercapto, or a substituted sulfonyl; and X is any one of the groups represented by formula (II).
