PURPOSE: To obtain a remedy for ulcer, having excellent synergistic effect, effective in preventing or remedying ulcer without accompanying excessive suppression of gastric acid secretion and capable of preventing the relapse of ulcer, by using an epithelial cell growth factor and sucrose sulfuric acid ester aluminum salt as active component.
CONSTITUTION: The objective agent contains (A) an epithelial cell growth factor, its derivative, fragment and/or their salts effective in promoting the proliferation of various epithelial cells and fibroblast cells and the proliferation of gastric and intestinal mucosal cells and (B) sucrose sulfuric acid ester aluminum salt and/or its derivative known as an antiulcer agent of protective factor-promotion type having gastric mucosa protecting action as main effect. The remedy is preferably administered by oral administration. The rate of application is 1ng-1mg of the component A and 10mg-10g of the component B for adult per dose.
