To provide a remittance method and system using an instant messaging service.SOLUTION: A remittance method includes the steps of: providing an instant messaging service; receiving a function transmission request associated with a first account of a first user and a second account of a second user using an identification scheme of the instant messaging service, from a bank server which provides a banking service associated with the instant messaging service; and transmitting a message, in accordance with the function transmission request, including a link to an account information registration function through a dialogue session established between the first account and the second account.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
