To enable a detailed trouble information to be attained in such a degree as one capable of applying immediately a practical countermeasure against occurrence of abnormal state in any one of a plurality of freezers under a concentrated control performed from a remote location for freezers installed at each of a plurality of buildings.
A terminal device l is installed at each of freezers in each of the buildings and then the terminal device and a central monitoring device 11 are connected by a communication means (for example, a telephone circuit 5). The terminal device is provided with a calculation control section for inputting signals expressing a physical quantity indicating a state of each of the devices constituting a freezer and an operating state of the freezer to a central monitoring device 11, and discriminating their correlation. A result of discrimination is reported to the central monitoring device 11, analyzed more in detail by a computer 12 and a result of analysis is displayed on a display 13.
