PURPOSE: To efficiently transmit an original by providing a means for setting conference information and an original generation means and transmitting a conference notification original to optical opposite parties or conference participant terminal units.

CONSTITUTION: The user of a remote conference terminal equipment 29 (1) sets the conference information such as a conference name, a conference host and a conference opening time, etc., by using a touch panel and a keyboard, etc. After setting is competed, the optional opposite parties and group IDs divided for the conference participant units are set by using the touch panel and the keyboard, etc. After the setting is completed, a conference notification is automatically generated from the conference information and is outputted through a public digital network 31 to the remote conference terminal equipment 29(1-n.) When the conference notification is received, it is outputted to a printer or a display device recognizably as the conference notification. Thus, it is not necessary to directly call and make contact with conference perticipants.
