Abstract:
To provide a remote controller which can set language which a user can understand as display language even if the user oneself does not select arbitrary language.SOLUTION: A remote controller includes a sound collection section, a sound output section, and a control section. The control section functions as: a specification section which specifies a user's use language by analyzing the user's conversation voice which is collected by the sound collection section; a sound output processing section for outputting, from the sound output section, confirmation voice which confirms with the user whether the specified use language is to be set as display language in the remote controller by using the use language; a determination section for determining whether the specified use language is used for response voice or whether the response voice includes an affirmative content to the confirmation voice by analyzing response voice which is collected by the sound collection section from the user to the confirmation voice; and a setting section for setting the use language as display language when the use language specified in the response voice is determined to be used and the response voice to include the affirmative content to the confirmation voice.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
