Abstract:

PURPOSE: To secure sure operation irrespective of slight mount error, by providing a slide pin between a gear for tilting a mirror and a microswitch for detecting a stroke end, and pushing the switch through the pin.

CONSTITUTION: In a device for swinging a rack gear 6 about a horizontal shaft 13 by rotation of a pinion (not shown) which is rotated by a motor, and tilting a mirror body (not shown) connected to the horizontal shaft 13 in an upper and a lower direction, there is slidably arranged a slide pin 16 forming a flat top head portion 16a between a side end portion forming projections 6a and 6b of the rack gear 6 for detecting a stroke end of the upward and downward tilting movement and a switch lever 10a of a microswitch 10 fixed to a housing 14. The housing 14 is provided with a wall 17 projected therefrom and having a cut-away portion 19 at a part thereof, and the switch 10 is provided with a projection 10c engageable with the cut-away portion 19, so as to prevent erroneous installation of the switch 10.
