Abstract:
To provide a remote control system in which a setting means is not required for inputting data of initial setting to a remote control apparatus and further, convenience for users is enhanced.
A telephone set connected to a telephone line 2 parallel with a line interface part 3 is used and under a busy state set by originating a call from the telephone set to a telephone number corresponding to the telephone line 2, a DTMF signal sent from the telephone set onto the telephone line 2 by operating push-buttons of the telephone sets is captured by a remote control apparatus 1 via the line interface part as a signal of setting data.
