PURPOSE: To increase the application range of a remote control system, by incorporating both function key and a microphone for remote control into a transmitter.
CONSTITUTION: A changeover switch 5 is set at the side of the function key switch 3 for a normal remote control operation. At the receiver side an A/D converter 7 detects that a microphone 4 is turned off, and an analog switch 9 is turned off. The signal generated by the key 3 is fed to a microcomputer 12 via a wire 6 and the converter 7, and the control is performed in accordance with this signal. When the microphone 4 is used, the switch 5 is changed over to the microphone side. The switch 9 is turned on by the output signal of the microphone 4. Then an audio signal is fed to a mixing circuit 11.
