PURPOSE: To provide a remote control type circuit breaker which can be reset without causing the reverse attraction of an electromagnet when the reset operation is remotely carried out.

CONSTITUTION: This remote control type circuit breaker has a change-over switch 32 opened and closed by an operation handle, a change-over switch 33 opened and closed by a needle frame, a change-over switch 50 opened and closed interlockingly with a link pin engaged with a lever at trip and reset, and a reset switch 52 having a diode bridge for full-wave rectifying alternate current. Half-wave rectified current is carried to an operation coil 39 at ON/ OFF operation, and full-wave rectified current is carried from the intermediate tap 39a of the operation coil 39 at reset to perform the reset operation with a strong attracting force.
