A display area of the display part of the remote control unit 2 is divided into a plurality of divided display areas. Contents source information on each divided display area is obtained from a means of managing a screen profile 7. This means manages screen profile data in which contents source information showing a source of providing contents to be displayed on the divided display areas is associated with the divided display areas. The browser of the remote control unit 2 obtains contents to be displayed on each divided display area with the contents source information as link information.
