In this remote control system for the house equipment performing the communication with a transmitter-receiver for mutually transmitting and receiving the data among the house equipment pieces such as a water heater and a plurality of remote controllers for remote-controlling the equipment, by utilizing the digital modulation as a communication method among the plurality of remote controllers, and capable of setting the child lock function to make the second remote controller not receive the key-operation of the second remote controller itself, from the first remote controller, the second remote controller has a release determination means for determining the release of the specific key operation by itself, and the child lock function can be set/released in accordance with the output of the release determination means.
