The remote diagnosis system for the screw compressor 1 comprises at least one screw compressor 1 and a computer 6 arranged remote from the screw compressor 1, connected via a network 7 to permit the diagnosis of the operated condition of the screw compressor 1, the screw compressor 1 being provided with vibration measuring means 3 for measuring the vibrated condition thereof and the computer 6 receiving actual operation data in accordance with a measurement value from the vibration measuring means 3, sent from the screw compressor 1, comparing the actual operation data with previously held correct operation data for normal operation and transmitting the comparison result to the screw compressor 1.
