Abstract:

PURPOSE: To properly make a signal incident in an operating device without being affected by its incident direction by forming a rugged cross sctional shape causing a signal incident angle to be a prescribed angle or below to the outer surface of an optical plate filter transmitting a beam light signal.

CONSTITUTION: A transmitter 10 and a television main body 20 are arranged in a cabin of an automobile and an infrared light beam is sent from a transmitter 10 in a direction of arrow 10a. The optical plate filter 23 transmitting only an infrared ray is fitted to a front panel 11 of the TV main body 20. A rugged cross sectional shape is formed to the outer surface 23a of the filter 23 so that the incident angle of the transmission signal at the incident position from the transmitter 10 is a prescribed angle or below. The transmission signal made incident in the filter 23 along the arrow 10a reaches the reception element 24 while being refracted in the filter 23 almost without being reflected on the lower surface of the rugged cross section of the outer surface 23a. Thus, the TV main body 20 is remote-controlled under the sufficient reception of the transmission signal of the element 24.
