To recognize whether or not a processing can be completed within a time limit before a client requests a server for the processing by adding a procedure processing end time limit to request data, transmitting them to a server computer, judging whether or not it is to be ended within the requested procedure processing time limit and transmitting the result to a client computer.
The client computer 411 adds the information on the time limit by which the processing is to be ended and calls the procedure of the server computer 421. On the side of the server computer 421, the transfer required time of the processing result of a return route is calculated based on the required time of the request data of an outward route and further, the start and end time of the procedure and the start and end time of data transfer are calculated. By comparing the calculated end time with the information of the end time limit specified from the client computer 411, whether or not to execute the procedure processing is judged in the server computer 421. Then, the judged result and the respective pieces of the time are returned to the client computer 411.
