To provide a technique capable of improving the efficiency of remote recognition by preventing the transmission of unnecessary information when performing a remote recognition by use of image information.

A remote recognition delivery method using image for remotely recognizing a designated mobile by an image and delivering the image comprises the step of receiving set information showing the monitoring content of an object of recognition from a remote recognition delivery requester terminal and setting it; the step of starting a monitoring according to the set information and collating the image of a video camera with the information in a database for characteristics of the object of recognition to determine whether the mobile in the image is the object of recognition or not; and the step of delivering, when the mobile in the image is determined to be the object of recognition, the image information as far back as the time when the object of recognition is detected first.
