To provide a remote reproduction system in which any two signals among multiple signals to be transmitted from an audio reproduction server to an audio output device are superimposed so as to be sent as one signal, thereby reducing the number of used cables.
The remote reproduction system is provided with an analog/digital converter 51 for converting an analog audio signal obtained from the audio reproduction server into a digital data signal, a transmitting side output circuit 5 comprising a superimposing circuit 52 for generating a superimposed signal by the digital data signal and a stereo signal, a separation circuit 61 for separating the superimposed signal sent from the transmitting side output circuit via the cable 7 into the digital data signal and the stereo signal, a receiving side input circuit 6 comprising a digital/analog conversion circuit 62 for converting the separated digital data signal into the analog signal. The receiving side input circuit outputs the analog audio signal to a speaker 3.
