Abstract:
To enable capturing of a remote sensing image for analysis of crop growth state at optimal timing.SOLUTION: A system has an input device, an output device, a treatment device, and a storage device, and determines the timing to acquire a remote sensing image, for grasping crop growth state, targeting fields distributed on the ground. The system has a base date estimation unit that estimates a base date used to predict crop growth state, on the basis of a first remote sensing image as time series data. The system also has a growth prediction unit that predicts crop growth state after the base date on the basis of weather data as time series data and estimates the timing at which the crops reach a specific growth stage. The system also has an optimal timing determination unit that determines the timing at which the fields in which the crops have reached the specific growth stage can be captured as many as possible, as a second remote sensing image acquisition timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
