PURPOSE: To facilitate the work of data processing with the mounting efficiency improved as well, by means of converting a data item, transmitted from monitored station, into a predetermined item arrangement sequence for use of monitor station, with a position converter provided at the side of monitor station.

CONSTITUTION: The transmission is made at an item position 1, 2, 3 to a monitor station 4 from monitored station. A position converter 9, at the monitor station 4, converts the item position 1 into an item position 5, the item position 2 into an item position 6 and the item position 3 into an item position 7, respectively. The item positions 5, 6, 7 are made into a convenient arrangement for the monitor station. Accordingly, for a data processor 8, is made an input at the same position even for item positions different from each other between the monitored stations. In this way, no limitation, being required for the item arrangement in the monitored station, simplifies the work of data processing as well as improves the mounting efficiency.
