Abstract:

PURPOSE: To remove adhered, substances easily, surely and further without producing byproducts by supplying powder material having projected parts on the surface after soot and a solidifying agent are supplied to a kneading apparatus and then driving the apparatus.

CONSTITUTION: When stopping a kneading apparatus 1, at first, supply of soot, cement, and water is stopped and while the kneading apparatus 1 is kept operating, granular sand having projected parts on the surface is conveyed therein from a sand silo 10. Then, the sand moves in the kneading apparatus 1 while being stirred, so that, at that time, substances adhered to the inside of the kneading apparatus 1, especially to stirring blades, etc., are scraped and peeled off before the substances are not solidified. At the time of discharge, the resultant mixture is discharged in the case a large quantity of a residual kneaded material is mixed, while if the amount becomes slight, the remaining mixture is turned back to the sand silo 10 through a belt conveyer 11 and a sand hopper 12 and utilized it again.
