Abstract:
PURPOSE: To remove burr from the opening of synthetic resin lace, easily, by blasting air stream to the lace immediately after releasing from mold.
CONSTITUTION: Resin is filled into grooves of a roll 1 by an application roll 2, levelled with a doctor knife 3, heated by a heater 4, solidified at a cooling section 6, and released at the releasing section 5. The synthetic resin lace 7 thus prepared is blasted with air stream. The air stream is pref. compressed air stream of a pressure of 1 kg/cm2, and pref. having a temp. of 100W220°C, and velocity of 20W60 m/sec. The lace is pref. tensioned with a pair of rolls, or supported with a perforated supporting belt, during air blast.
