Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removal method of contaminants in carbon black and/or silica where a period removing the contaminants is prolonged by reducing the accumulated amount of mesh-sorted contaminants on a mesh when removing the contaminants before being charged into a kneader at rubber kneading and the breakage of the mesh can be prevented.SOLUTION: In a removal method of contaminants removing the contaminants contained in carbon black and/or silica when charging the carbon black and/or the silica from a storing tank 1 to a kneader via a storage tank 4,: a classifier 2 connected to a recovery tank 3 is disposed between the storing tank 1 and the storage tank 4; the contaminants contained in the carbon black and/or the silica are sorted by the air flow of the classifier 2; and the sorted contaminants are recovered within the recovery tank 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
