Title:
REMOVAL OF OILY LIQUID FROM CROSSLINKED POLAR RESIN PARTICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000219815
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To stably remove an oily liquid without causing bumping, etc., by suspending crosslinked polar resin particles containing oily liquid and heating and boiling the obtained slurry.

Crosslinked polar resin particles containing an oily liquid are suspended in water containing ≥0.05 wt.% of an oily liquid (preferably a liquid forming an azeotropic mixture with water) dissolved in water and the obtained slurry is heated and boiled to evaporate and remove the oily liquid together with water. As an alternative, water free from oily liquid is mixed with the above resin particles, the mixture is stirred until the amount of the oily liquid dissolved from the resin particle reaches ≥0.05 wt.% and the product is boiled by heating. The oily liquid is stably removed from the crosslinked polar resin particles containing the oily liquid to a level containing extremely small amount of residual oily liquid without causing the degradation of the polar resin particle and the bumping trouble, etc.
