To provide a removal-prevented plug receptacle with a durability improved by increasing a guaranteed value of insertion/removal frequency.
A base body 2 of a receptacle 1 is provided with a plug connection part 3 removably connected to an attachment plug 50 equipped with a plurality of electrode pins 52a-52c in a shape of a round bar and a peripheral wall 53 in a substantially square tubular shape surrounding the electrode pins 52a-52c. The plug connection part 3 includes a plurality of pin insertion holes 8a-8c respectively opening on a surface of the base body 2 and into which each of the electrode pins 52a-52c is inserted, an insertion groove 9 provided on the surface of the base body 2 and into which the peripheral wall 53 is inserted, and a plurality of contacts 11a-11c electrically connected to each of the electrode pins 52a-52c inserted through each of the pin insertion holes 8a-8c. The insertion groove 9 is provided with a recess 13 preventing a removal of the attachment plug 50 by hooking a pawl 56 provided to the peripheral wall 53 thereon in a state where the peripheral wall 53 is inserted in the insertion groove 9.
