To provide a removing mechanism for cutting strips which prevents oil lacking/oil scattering of/from a bearing by air blow for removing the cutting strip.

The mechanism comprises: a spindle shaft 50 having a concave portion in which one end portion of a cutting tool is located inside; a second flow passage 40g extended in the direction which approximately crosses at right angles with an axial direction of the spindle shaft; an air supplying means of generating an air current flowing toward a lower aperture in the inside of the concave portion; and a reed valve 48 arranged at the upper side of a second bearing 44 which prevents the air supplied by the air supplying means from flowing inside the second bearing.
