Abstract:
To repair a furnace wall pipe from outside the furnace without setting up a scaffold, etc., within the furnace of a boiler.
The damage 11 part of a furnace wall pipe 11 is taken away including its periphery, and the furnace wall pipe 11 is bent so as to turn both ends at an opening of the furnace wall pipe 11 brought into existence by the removal of the damage 11 part outward, and then a new furnace wall pipe 12 is arranged between the ends at the opening. Then, these furnace wall pipes 11 and 12 are joined to couple the fellow ends at the opening, and a refractory material 13 is attached to the junction part, and also the refractory material 13 as surrounded by a seal box 14.
