Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an optic lens material which has a low tacking property, low moisture content, high refractive index, good flexibility and is easy to be handled, by making the lens material formed out of a polymer which is composed of a polymerization component in which a monomer expressed by a specified formula is contained and the composition containing a cross-linking agent.
CONSTITUTION: This optic lens material is formed by a polymer which is obtained from polymerization of a polymerization component containing a monomer (A) which is expressed as a formula, such as 2-hydroxy-3- phenoxypropyl (meth)acrylate and of the composition containing a cross-linking agent. Where, R1 is hydrogen atom or methyl group, R2 to R6 are respectively hydrogen atom, alkyl group, alkoxyl group, hydroxyl group, carboxyl group independently, and (n) represents an integer of 1 to 10. The amount of monomer (A) used is made to be 15∼99weight% of weight components so as to fully exert its effect of improving flexibility, reducing a tacking property, and increasing refractive index, especially 25weight% is preferable.
