Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairing method of a joined part when such a structure as a vehicle or the like is manufactured by joining aluminum alloy material with a friction stirring joining.
SOLUTION: A joined bead 50 is formed by applying a friction stirring joining along a butted line 40 between a first member 20 and a second member 30 which are formed by a hollow extrusion processing where an aluminum alloy material A6N01 is used as a base metal. When a fault exists in this joined bead 50, the bead including the fault is removed by a grinding process to form a region to be repaired. A repairing bead is given by a TIG welding to the region to be repaired. The welding rod for the TIG welding is made from the same material as that of the base material of the member to uniformalize the composition of the bead. A hairline processing is given to the part joined by the friction stirring joining, then a fine surface is realized where a borderline between the bead and the base material and a trace of the fault are unnoticeable.
