Abstract:
PURPOSE:To vary continuously a reproducing speed by means of a variable resistor by giving a digital signal in response to an input voltage set by the variable resister to variable frequency divider from an A/D converter so as to decide the frequency division ratio. CONSTITUTION:A voltage set by the variable resistor 116 from the frequency division N of a variable frequency divider circuit 111 of a PLL circuit is converted into a digital signal via an A/D converter 118 and the N is given as the digital signal. In varying the variable resistor 116, the N of the variable frequency division circuit 111 is changed and the oscillating frequency f0 of a variable frequency oscillating circuit VCO 110 is changed. The oscillated output of the VCO 110 is fed to a speed servo circuit 13 to form a speed reference and when the oscillating frequency f0 is increased, for example, the reproduction speed is quickened. Thus, the reference frequency of the reproduction speed is varied by means of the variable resistor in the sense of continuity close to an analog signal.
